Grab pieces of ice (as large as you want), watercolors, and a plastic tray or container to catch the puddles. Invite your child to brush the watercolors on top of the ice block. Notice what happens with the watercolors as the ice starts melting. The texture starts changing, as do the colors. Press a piece of paper on top for additional art activity.
